I attended Bay Path College in Longmeadow, Massachusetts for my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. While I attended college, I had the opportunity to travel to two different countries. I explored Italy with the president of my college and many close friends. We enjoyed sampling the food, learning the history, and taking in all that the Italians had to offer. I also traveled to Senegal and Gambia in West Africa.
This was the best experience of my life. The people, the food, the animals, the sights... my senses were in overdrive. I cannot wait to return and visit the family that we created there. My husband and I live in Connecticut with our two year old black lab, Charleigh! We are currently in the process of adopting a child and are so excited to expand our family.

I am currently a graduate student as University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford pursuing my degree in reading and language at the elementary level. The cohort of teachers that I am learning with are passionate about teaching and I have learned so much from them already. We are all looking forward to graduating in 2015.
I am so excited about using this blog as a means to communicate and collaborate with teachers across the globe as well as keeping parents updated throughout the school year as to the happenings in our classroom.
